The prolificity of the English language never ceases to amaze me. In the last three, perhaps two, days, I have heard two phrases which to the best of my knowledge I have never heard before. They are Indian giver and thirst trap.

The Indian concerned is an Injun, ie Native American rather than someone from the subcontinent. The term dates from the Eighteenth Century and means (or can mean) someone who gives you something, ostensibly as a gift, then wants it back.

Of thirst trap, I will say only that this is something of a sexual nature and let you imagine the rest, if you are not familiar with it already.

Something else that never ceases to amaze me is that so many people who speak English as a second language are ultra-fluent while I am still discovering it in my sixty-seventh year.

It wasn’t that long ago this bloke was a popular host on morning TV. Now, suddenly he is poison. True, he did come out as a homo in February 2020. He married in 1993, but Elton John went down the same perverted route and didn’t attract unwarranted criticism for it. More recently it was claimed he and his co-presenter Holly Willoughby jumped the queue at the Queen’s lying-in-state, hardly a hanging offence. Then his brother was given a heavy sentence for child sexual offences – sins of the siblings? And now he is gone from his morning television programme and possibly from TV period.

None of that is surprising, disappointing undoubtedly, but suddenly we are told he is a narcissist, a thug, if not in the literal sense then a verbal bully, and a few other unpleasant things besides. Why would any woman want to sit next to him on the sofa?

Now take a gander at the photograph below. The woman with the scarred face is Naomi Oni. Those scars were caused by acid. In December 2012, she was attacked by a work colleague and former friend in a well-publicised incident. Mary Konye received a twelve year sentence for that attack, not a day too long. Although plastic surgery has repaired some of the damage, Naomi is clearly serving a life sentence. She appeared on Schofield’s morning TV programme less than six weeks after the attack, and broke down visibly distressed. He doesn’t look quite such a monster here, does he?

What will people say about you after you fall from grace, or when you are dead?

People were allowed in Trafalgar Square again and there was water in the fountains, but they and the centre were totally sealed off by the police and security. That was as good as it got. There was no big screen with music and live broadcasting, even worse the toilets were closed and I don’t think there were toilets anywhere except in restaurants and the like. Does it make sense when countless thousands of people are expected to flood the area – including families with at times very young kids – to close all the public toilets? This led to men urinating discreetly in corners after the event. And women?

There was the usual firework display over by the Thames which was visible over the tall buildings, but there were two additional mini-displays as well: one by Pret A Manger and another, shortly after or during the end of the main display in the north-east corner of the Square itself. I left shortly after these to carry out my annual ritual, the one I have performed since New Year’s Day 1999, then made my way home by a somewhat circuitous route via Clock House and my local kebab shop.

Last year was bad enough, the Square was fenced off and I saw in New Year’s Day standing under a statue just south of it; the dude’s name escapes me at the moment. This year I couldn’t even do that. I left home around 9pm and caught a bus, which I expected to be slow, certainly slower than the trains that weren’t running to London Bridge, but I was still there in more than good time.

Again, it was entirely boarded up and then some. I spent a good deal of time wandering around; best not to mention the copper who thought I was urinating outside Embankment Station – I was struggling with the seal on a flapjack packet – or the idiot who thought I was his Algerian uncle spouting nonsense as one of his female companions threw up over the westbound platform.

I saw in the New Year in Leicester Square then made my way towards Covent Garden to do my annual good deeds; I stopped at two rather than the usual six, wanting to get home, but the time the bus took to get from Charing Cross Road to Duncannon Street, I could have walked there and dispensed another four.

2022 and Al is still here. No one is more amazed than me.

This Labour MP was hanging out with Graham Linehan and friends on YouTube yesterday. She had recently made some “transphobic” comments, ie implying that men are not women. At least one left wing moron has demanded she lose the whip.

So what does Rosie say on this hangout? She complains we are “losing out language” and is so concerned about “the words we use”. And she says she grew up knowing about “gay rights” and attended Pride lots of times. Yeah, she calls homosexuality gay. And Pride - seriously?

Not only that, she refers to illegal immigrants as asylum seekers. And this is the woman who says we are losing our language? Give me a break.

I first tackled this subject a decade ago, and have witnessed many strange things at the poker table since - including me winning on occasion! Nevertheless, what happened in the $300 Freeroll tonight was something special.

I was coasting, then a short stack went all-in and the dude in front of me called. I had pocket jacks, and followed. The all-in had jacks too, and the other guy had queens. I thought I was as good as out so shortly went all-in with suited connectors against a minimum raise. And flopped the nut straight.

Three of us in the pot, the diamond on the turn didn’t bother me particularly, but I called “deuce of clubs” all the same. And it came. I cashed, then again short stacked I was all-in with almost the same suited connectors. When the ace flopped I knew I was doomed, then the seven hit the turn, and I called “Six!”

Amazing or what? The straight saw me through to the next level. Give it a shot. Even if you are an atheist like me.

I was on my way home in the dark, although it wasn’t so dark I couldn’t see the gun. There was a car parked near my house, and sitting in it were four young black dudes: two in the front, two in the back. One in the back was holding the gun, it was silver or silvery. I feared for a moment he was going to shoot the other guy, but he was simply showing it to him.

I can’t remember if I spoke to them, but I do remember taking out a pen and writing down the car registration number: B77 3701.

The next thing I remember, I was in the hall and four men were walking up the short path. They were all white, one was my neighbour of 26 years, the other three were drinking buddies, they were carrying bottles of beer. Nothing unusual about that, I thought. I went upstairs, and the door to my apartment was ajar, the living room light on. I pushed the door open and confronted the low table, it was bare; someone had broken in and stolen my computer. It was then I realised my apartment doesn’t look like this, for one thing I don’t enter it by the living room door. Then I woke up.

I’ve had vivid or fairly vivid dreams like this before. The last one I had was of a plane crashing into a building 9/11 fashion. And?

I ran B77 3701 through Google. I realised it wasn’t a real vehicle registration number; I found out it was something for sale on eBay, something to do with fishing rods.

Dreams are junk. We have them all the time. Some we remember, most we forget. Let them go, the only dreams that mean anything are those you can chase in the real world.

Take a gander at the two hands below; they are both from the daily $2.20 pot limit knockout tournament on PokerStars yesterday, Bank Holiday Monday.

In the first, I would have made a royal flush; I called the initial raise but folded to a re-reraise. As soon as I saw the flop, I knew what would happen, but had I stayed in, it would have been poor value to call the turn when even if a heart that doesn’t pair the board comes, I still win only half the pot.

The second hand, from later, is almost a royal flush, but at least I got paid, although I should have bet a lot less on the river; nobody called. I cashed, taking a few bounties on the way, but should have finished a lot higher than I did.

What do you think are the chances of a repeat performance tonight?

Whatever, don’t give up the day job!

The two screengrabs below are from micro-stakes pot limit Omaha played this evening on PokerStars.

Where else!?

In the first, Yours Truly folds a semi-garbage hand pre-flop. And look what he misses.

The second hand is from slightly later in the same tournament, but only slightly later, note the blinds.

As far as I can remember, this is the first time I have seen two royal flushes in the same tournament, granted that the first was only a potential royal flush.

I play very little Omaha because it’s a lunatics game, Generally, hi-lo isn’t so bad as long as you keep you wits about you, and are prepared to fold top set on the flop on occasion.

How often do you flop a royal flush, even at Omaha? I kept the betting modest to ensure I got paid.

I also cashed, for what it was worth. A tiny fraction of minimum wage.

Don’t give up the day job, Al!

Actually, it had never left. The screengrab below is from the two dollar PLO KO. I cashed again tonight, but was quite short stacked both before cashing and after.

After the turn, I called for the 3, and it came. No big thing, but it got me through to the next level.

I’ve actually lost count of the number of times I’ve done this. Okay, it doesn’t always work or I’d win the tournament every night, but it works a lot more often than it should.

This tournament may be cheap, but no one could ever claim it wasn’t entertaining. Due to the low buy-in, guaranteed prize pool, and extended late registration, it attracts hundreds of players. The format is fun too.

I have a stellar record in this particular tournament. Okay, it doesn’t pay the rent, but you get my drift.

Below are six screengrabs: the first three from March 27 and the next three from March 31, 2021.

I finished runner-up in the first after having serious doubts about cashing.

Look at this hand, granted there isn’t much in the pot, but how can anyone scoop a three-handed pot with a pair of 9s, and on a paired board? This hand was actually played after midnight, ie in the small hours of March 28. The guy with 10-6-6-3 has no business being in the pot, but you see a lot worse than that all the time.

Below is the aftermath of the final hand, and below that is the top of the finishing table, but note especially the times - seven and a half hours. Jee-zus. Where else can you get cheap entertainment like that, and even get paid for it?

The second tournament saw me in second and third place much of the time early on, but it was the bounties that were really wild. True, I had some luck, but I can’t believe some of the hands people play at this game, something I’ve been saying for longer than I care to remember.

The two graphs show my position, and the final grab shows me being busted out twenty-fourth. I might have finished a tad higher had I not been disconnected at one point, but I really can’t complain. Same thing tomorrow night?

Having played this tournament Thursday night and made the final table, I kinda felt obligated to reprise it, which I did in style. Already in the money, I was dealt rolled up 4s and got into a raising war. A third player stayed the course, but as you will see from this hand, he had no business even flat calling.

canam999 was all-in before me, and I stared in horror at his hand, a prial of kings. Remarkably, my hand paired while his didn’t.

Having survived that horror, it was only fitting I should be busted out the same way, the guy with the massive stack starting with a low draw only sucking out with spades to scoop.

A straight flush is a rarity in poker, but is obviously more of a rarity at 5 card stud than at Omaha.

All the same, you don’t really expect to see two straight flushes in the same tournament, much less be dealt two yourself. This is what happened to me this evening.

This one happened deep into the tournament.

And this one a bit later.

We were already well in the money, and very short stacked, I took a chance with two small pairs. When the flop came 5-8-9, I called for the 7 of spades, and it came. It took me to the next level.

I should have been happy, but I couldn’t help thinking that only at hi lo, you can make a straight flush and still win only half the pot, something I did here twice.

Over the course of 2020, we have seen many laughable examples of media gaslighting, perhaps most notably, and laughably, by the MSNBC reporter who claimed the protests he was covering were mostly peaceful while a building burned in the background. He did point out that fires had been started, but heck, what’s a fire or two?

Another example of gaslighting is to claim Joe Biden is more popular than Donald Trump, that the Biden of 2020 is more popular than the Barack Obama of 2008, and that Biden’s son Hunter did nothing wrong when he was clearly using his father’s name to enrich himself and the Biden family at the expense of his country.

Having said that, things are not always what they appear. Two men attacking a third may actually be two detectives apprehending a murder suspect. A man dragging a young child forcibly into a car may look like a kidnapping when it is really an angry father attempting to take his recalcitrant son home.

But what does the above photograph look like? These are the mugshots of a child sex grooming gang, one of many that have been successfully prosecuted in recent years. Run the phrase “grooming gang” through your image search, and the photographs that come up are strikingly similar. Of course, there are exceptions. This grooming gang from Rotherham includes two white women. Genuine female sexual predators are extremely rare, because female depravity manifests in other ways. Most female sexual predators have been groomed themselves, or allowed themselves to be groomed, by men, as here.

And yes, there are white sexual predators including white child sexual predators; the names Robert Black, Ian Huntley and Roy Whiting spring to mind; serial child killer, double child killer, and child killer respectively, but how often do they hunt in packs, and how many of them have sexually abused dozens, in some cases hundreds, of underage teens for years? The answer is none. Yet there is now a concerted effort to convince us that the eight lowlifes pictured above are in some way exceptional.

These gangs have been alluded to as Islamic grooming gangs, including by Tommy Robinson. While this claim is superficially plausible, the men pictured here are more likely to be found in Mecca Bookmakers than praying facing Mecca. Under Sharia, rape is capital. Former Labour Home Secretary Jack Straw identified the real problem years ago when he pointed out that certain men of Pakistani heritage regarded young white girls as “easy meat”.

This claim was denounced as “racist”, surprise, surprise, but what isn’t racist nowadays? Is it sexist to point out that the overwhelming majority of sex offenders are men? Is it sexist and ageist to point out that most violent crime - violent with a capital V - are committed by males between the ages of about 15 and 45?

If you hadn’t realised it by now, with rare exceptions, intersectionality - the totem pole of oppression - goes in one direction only.

The official report on the grooming gangs was published last month. Sources cited within it include so-called criminologist Ella Cockbain and self-styled grooming gang “survivor” Sammy Woodhouse. Both these women have gone on record claiming that most offenders are white. Not most grooming gang members, absolutely not.

Although she was indeed a victim, of the predatory Arshid Hussain, Woodhouse was in every sense a willing victim. Some of the claims she makes about Hussain are not worthy of belief, although she does admit that at the age of fifteen she helped him rob a post office. Did he “groom” her to do that?

Woodhouse became pregnant by Hussain not once, but twice. She hated being raped so much, she went back for more. Woodhouse went on to start a petition called “Stop rapists from accessing children conceived through rape”. How many of the four hundred thousand plus people who signed it stopped to think that if passed into law it will allow any woman to stop a man having access to his offspring simply by claiming she was raped?

Not everyone was taken in by her little girl lost act; she was refused criminal injuries compensation because the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board recognised her agency.

The aforementioned Ella Cobain co-authored a paper published by the Institute Of Race Relations in January this year. As might be discerned from its title: Failing victims, fuelling hate: challenging the harms of the ‘Muslim grooming gangs’ narrative is more concerned with promoting its own narrative than in documenting actual abuse.

The Institute Of Race Relations is an openly Marxist organisation that has championed convicted murderers Mumia Abu-Jamal and Satpal Ram.

Returning to the official report, its lack of proper citations and its twisted rhetoric are a wonder to behold.
Thus at paragraph 89 we are told:

“Studies have indicated that societal and cultural issues around misogyny may also be an enabling factor. Objectification of women in society has been suggested as a reason why violence against girls may be normalised and accepted.”

This is pure feminist propaganda. Misogyny means arguing with a feminist or simply disagreeing with one. The objectification of women is another piece of feminist nonsense. Physically attractive women are often admired by both sexes; one may admire a bird, a horse, a building, that doesn’t suggest indecency, only good taste.

In spite of this and other attempts to whitewash (pun intended) the grooming gang scandal, the genie is well and truly out of the bottle. In December 2017, the Quilliam Foundation issued a report that concluded there was indeed a heavy involvement of Pakistani men in the grooming gangs, even though it did allude to “outdated and sexist views of women”. The way certain individuals or groups view women isn’t and never was the issue; the law should be enforced to protect vulnerable girls, that means recognising and imposing severe punishment on all offenders, whatever their race.

Unlike most poker variants, stud hi-lo can be said to have an element of skill to it, but bad beats are still rampant. The three screengrabs below are from the 01.43 (London time) tournament on PokerStars, November 14, 2020.

Our Hero was sitting out this hand, but the guy next to him had rolled up 9s. You can usually expect to take down half the pot with such a monster, especially when filling up on sixth street. Alas, he was already beaten.

On the final table but hoping to improve, guess who made a prial of 3s on fifth street not realising he was behind? Fortunately, this time the other guy had the bad beat; I hit a house, he didn’t. Try that at hold ‘em!

I was busted out on a bad beat, aces against kings, the other bloke made two pair, but that wasn’t a bad finish considering.

Considering so many shops and businesses are either working at reduced capacity or closed altogether, central Croydon was quite busy Saturday. Near Surrey Street, a homeless woman I have seen for many months was pitched in a doorway with all her worldly possessions. She is younger than me, probably quite a bit younger, but looks older with her rotten teeth, and as at 64 I am not in good shape, that says something.

I noticed she had a mobile phone. Well, she could hardly have a landline. She told me Crisis had given it to her. I asked her if she couldn’t get hostel accommodation or something, to which she replied the council would split them up, them being her and her husband. I asked about him, and she said he was on the other side of the road.

These two were not begging, at least not aggressively. I walked up to him and asked about their situation. Couldn’t they get housed together in some sort of apartment? He said they, meaning the council, were working on it. I asked him his name, and he said it was Phil. He was probably older than his wife but didn’t look so wretched; a beard can have that effect, and homeless men are not generally as tragic as homeless women.

Talking of the tragic, if it weren’t so tragic it would be comic that we are forever being told - on both sides of the Atlantic - about white privilege and something now called structural racism. Clearly Phil and his wife left their white privilege at, not at home, that is for certain.

Then there are the feminists who never cease reminding us about that other chimera, sexism. Earlier this year, Samira Ahmed was complaining she was paid “only” £440 for an episode of Newswatch while Jeremy Vine collected £3,000 per episode of his programme. What does that tell us about privilege? Primarily that it derives from money, though not necessarily from talent. If you have the connections you can be an unrepentant junkie and still wallow in privilege, but let’s not talk about Hunter Biden. What it does tell us about poverty and social exclusion is that it is an equal opportunity employer.

I play very little poker nowadays, and always for very small stakes, usually micro-stakes. As is apparent from the top left hand corner of each, the two screengrabs below are from pot limit Omaha hi lo games. They were played October 25 and October 29 respectively.

In the first, I had a royal flush draw but folded on the flop. If the diamond had been a 9, I might have continued; had it been a 10, queen or king, I would definitely have, but I reasoned that in the unlikely event of making a royal, I would much more likely end up winning ouly half the pot. Naturally, I was disappointed, but look what happened four days later. Had I called the flop, I would have made queens full, but look at the river card and the winning hand. Dude, what a fold!
I cashed in both tournaments, taking bounties on the way, and with a bit of luck I was eleventh in the latter, busted out a few minutes short of five hours. It’s always better to be paid for your entertainment rather than pay for your education.

In 1965, the critic Kenneth Tynan famously used the dreaded F word (as it then was) on UK television. We learn herein that this was a deliberate, premeditated act. Although it caused a storm and even led to death threats against Tynan, this isolated incident pails into insignificance alongside the now infamous 1976 incident in which an obviously far from sober Bill Grundy provoked the Sex Pistols and their entourage on tea time TV.

Fast forward to the 1980s and the language becomes even more profane. We see how UK TV coped with American rap, a genre in which mother is half a word, and with films that were censored sometimes comically, with “eating pussy” being altered to “eating pineapple”, but such silliness did give us the charming euphemism “melon farmer” - melonfarmers dot co dot uk now being an anti-censorship website.

While the watershed - when properly observed - can filter out over-the-top swearing, live sport in the afternoon is a different matter, even if a little lip-reading is involved. Then came the Big Brother franchise and celebrity chefs.

In this excellent two part programme we hear from people who knew Kenneth Tynan, from the very much alive Johnny Rotten, the first man to use the C word on UK TV, many more and much more, including archive footage of Mary Whitehouse and more profanity than you dreamt possible. Jenny Bond is far from the first person to make the observation that the F word has been used so much it has lost its value to shock. And people who swear simply to cause outrage, we call them children. Whatever their age.

[I submitted the above review to IMDb on December 19, 2019 along with my ten out of ten rating. It wasn’t published. I submitted it again two days ago, and again it wasn’t published. It wasn’t rejected, just ignored. No one else has reviewed this documentary, and I would certainly have expected a few or maybe many people to have. I can only assume this is a new policy along with this absurd “wokeness”. Over the past year or so I’ve had a number of reviews rejected that would not have been rejected had I submitted them a couple of years earlier. Also, at least two of my reviews have been deleted. At any rate, this one is now being published here].

The recent, failed sovereign state of CHAZ in the Pacific Northwest would have been welcomed by the late Harold Covington, although it is doubtful if any of its citizens would have welcomed him.

Harold died two years ago this month. Unless you are of a certain age and/or have an interest in following the political fringe, you will probably not have heard of him, but until his untimely though not unexpected death at 64, Harold Armstead Covington was America’s and arguably the world’s leading National Socialist theorist. He wasn’t simply a Nazi but a white supremacist; as pointed out in a previous article, the two ideologies are not the same.

Harold though was the full ticket: he hated Jews with a passion, while blacks were beneath his contempt; apart from Barack Obama, he didn’t consider them at all.

It isn’t too difficult to find biographical material about Harold on-line, but bear in mind that this kind of hatred is generally a two-way street, so don’t expect to find anything objective about him written by Jews, especially those acknowledged smear merchants the ADL and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

In his youth, Harold was a comic book Nazi, complete with swastikas, uniform, and Roman salute - the classic “Sieg Heil!”

While still a teenager, he joined the National Socialist White People’s Party, the successor to the American Nazi Party that was founded by the charismatic but sorely misguided Lincoln Rockwell, who was assassinated in 1967.

After a stint in the US Army and working on the permanent staff of the NSWPP, Harold moved to South Africa and then to Rhodesia where he claimed to have served with the Rhodesian Army. Some say he didn’t serve with Rhodesian forces at all. He probably did, but Harold was not averse to a little embellishment, whether about his political enemies or himself. What isn’t disputed is that he was deported from the country due to his political activities.

It probably came as a shock to Harold that the whites of South Africa and Rhodesia did not regard themselves as “racist”. Although Rhodesia was ruled by whites, there was no apartheid as such, and what isn’t generally known is that even South Africa had strong “race relations” laws.

On returning to the United States, Harold continued his political activities, running for Attorney General of his native North Carolina on the Republican ticket but as an open Nazi. Although he didn’t win, he picked up an impressive share of the votes. His tenure with the NSPA is best not mentioned, but it doesn’t show him in a bad light. After that, he travelled to the British Isles spending time in both England and the Irish Republic, where he married a woman who had two children, and soon added two of his own. He also made occasional trips to Northern Ireland where he developed a reluctant admiration for the IRA, not for their goals, but their methods. And he lived on the Isle Of Man for a while.

While in Britain, he was accused of founding the short-lived but violent Combat 18. This allegation came from Gerry Gable, a man for whom the truth is a distant stranger. There is no evidence that Harold was ever involved in any violent political action himself in the UK, or that he incited it, and when finally he returned home, he relocated to the Pacific Northwest where, having found his true vocation, he began proselytising to his kinfolk through the new medium.

Although he wasn’t flush with money, Harold appears to have secured some backing for his new outfit the Northwest Front, which included a regular podcast. His intention was to implement the Butler Plan, the brainchild of Richard Butler who died in 2004. Butler was a brilliant man, an aerospace engineer, but he was attracted to Christian Identity, a movement that might be described as the white equivalent of Islamism without the terrorism. Butler founded Aryan Nations, a so-called church, and his idea was to create a separate homeland for white Americans. Harold summed up his version of the Butler Plan succinctly as “We will Create a White Homeland in the Pacific Northwest”.

Harold was a scholar of history, and in his own way a profound intellect. His Northwest novels and non-fiction writings can be found at the Internet Archive. The former are also available in audio format, and were written largely to inspire his younger followers. The exception is his last novel, Give Me The Night, which
he published under the pseudonym Martin Scanlan. This was written purely for pleasure.

Before the current wave of hysteria, Nazis were regarded as a curiosity by certain media outlets, something Harold eventually realised. Many years ago he was contacted by a producer or some such who wanted him to appear on a talk show. When he agreed, the guy asked him to turn up in swastikas and jackboots. Harold told him politely “We don’t do that sort of thing anymore”, or words to that effect. The guy said he would get back to him, but according to Harold, he never did. Clearly the new Wicked Harold had to be taken seriously unlike the Nazi clown of old; best not to give him what Margaret Thatcher called the oxygen of publicity. Who knows what impressionable minds he might corrupt?

Although Harold’s anti-Semitism was quite virulent, for an authoritarian he had some surprisingly Libertarian ideas. While homosexuality would not be tolerated in the new North American Republic, neither would the church as it exists. There would be freedom of religion, but no paid sinecures. His greatest Libertarian tendencies though manifested in his views of foreign policy. Like most of us of a certain age who lived through it, Harold was horrified by the 9/11 attacks, but had he rather than George W. Bush been running the country, there would have been no invasion of Iraq or any of the weapons of mass destruction nonsense that was to follow. He was totally opposed to American foreign policy in especially the Middle East, and to the excesses of the FBI.

Harold’s political enemies sought to portray him both as a clown who was not to be taken seriously, and as a greater threat to America than those who were actually destroying it. This cognitive dissonance can be found in all “anti-fascist” and far left “monitoring” groups. Since his death, his successor has continued to run the Northwest Front, but Harold is a hard act to follow. Harold was the kind of man who inspired fierce loyalty, and, whatever his politics, he was a good friend, including to many who never met him.

Though they rejoiced at his passing the same way they laughed at his life’s work, we saw with CHAZ a momentary vindication of his dream, albeit on an extremely small scale, because no sooner had they taken control of these six blocks of Seattle and declared their republic, what did these professed anti-racists do? They erected a “wall”, after condemning Donald Trump for years for doing the same thing, and then they segregated!

Yes, these anti-racists who were so offended by apartheid, Jim Crow, and legally enforced segregation, applied the principles of intersectionality relegating whites to the bottom of the food chain on account of their “oppressing” everyone else. In short, they have come full circle, from being outraged at segregation to being outraged at integration. This shouldn’t be so surprising, because some American universities have permitted or even encouraged segregation in some areas for years. What this does reveal though is that many of these left wing protesters don’t really understand what they are protesting against or lobbying for. Mark Dice and other pundits have demonstrated this by interviewing anti-Trump and similar protesters. Often they are unable to articulate even in general terms what it is that offends them.

The same thing cannot be said of Harold, and as he looks down from Valhalla, he will surely take an ironic pleasure in realising that if only for the briefest moment in time, his dream had come about, and it was his most vociferous enemies who enacted it.

This is not the first film to debunk the many lies and myths about the sexuality of Michael Jackson, but it does an excellent job. The man behind it, Danny Wu, adduces what he claims is another witness. In fact, this woman is not really a witness as such, rather she is someone who knew Jordan Chandler. However, the other witnesses and their evidence are more compelling.

It is very easy for anyone hearing the basics - Michael Jackson invited young boys into his bedroom, etc - to conclude he was indeed a paedophile. The reality is that he was simply extremely gullible, and, it might be argued, crassly stupid, to have continued with such “improper” associations after the 1993 case was resolved. If nothing else, his lawyers, friends and family would have been screaming in his ear to keep a professional distance from his young fans.

In addition to Jackson supporters, Wu shows footage of a then FBI agent who infiltrated NAMBLA, one of the most odious organisations ever established. NAMBLA member Victor Gutierrez published a book called Michael Jackson Was My Lover, a colossal piece of fiction. None of this is new, but Wu and his team do an excellent job putting these lies into their proper context.

The reality is that no one person or group of people can be held responsible for how the lies about Jackson grew and will very likely keep on growing. With the explosion of social media, any troll, malicious person or idiot can post anything he or equally often she likes, claim it is a verified fact, and how many of us know how to fact-check it? Celebrities alive and dead are constantly portrayed as monsters. The dead cannot defend themselves, but along with Wu, there are many people who are willing to defend Jackson a decade after his death. The prosaic truth is out there, for those who want to know it.

[The above is my review of Square One: Michael Jackson, originally titled simply Square One; it was rejected by IMDb, not the first time I have had a review of a Michael Jackson documentary rejected.

Did you know February was LGBT History Month? Here are a few &8220;achievements&8221; you won’t find on the Stonewall Calendar.

1327: Edward II, the bisexual King of England, is murdered at the behest of his wife Queen Isabella by having a red hot poker shoved up his anus.

1440: The homosexual serial killer of children Gilles de Rais is executed at Nantes in Brittany.

1533: In England, Henry VIII passes An Acte for the punishment of the vice of Buggerie – that punishment being death.

1646: Jan Creoli is executed for sodomy in (what is now) New York. He is believed to be the first person so executed in the future United States, but as this was his second offence and his victim was ten years old, don’t feel too sorry for him.

1779: Thomas Jefferson proposes reducing the penalty for homosexual sodomy from hanging to castration. This proposal is rejected by the Virginia Legislature.

1835: James Pratt and John Smith are hanged for consensual buggery, the last people to be executed in the UK for homosexual offences.

1895: The bisexual degenerate Oscar Wilde sues the Marquess Of Queensberry for criminal libel, but backs down when evidence of his homosexual liaisons are presented in court. He is subsequently sentenced to two years at hard labour, the vexatious author of his own misfortune.

1952: Mathematician Alan Turing is convicted of gross indecency with a teenager.

1962: Joe Orton and his “lover” Kenneth Halliwell are sentenced to six months in prison for defacing library books.

1967: Playwright and moral degenerate Joe Orton is battered to death by Kenneth Halliwell in their North London apartment. Halliwell then takes a fatal overdose.

1968: In New York, man-hating lesbian Valerie Solanas, who authored the SCUM Manifesto, shoots the homosexual visual artist Andy Warhol. In spite of nearly killing him, Solanas is released in 1971 and is treated like a victim of mental impairment instead of a psychopathic potential killer.

1974: Homosexual paedophiles in the UK form the Paedophile Information Exchange whose goal is to abolish the age of consent.

1977: The now long defunct homosexual newspaper Gay News and its editor are convicted of blasphemous libel after a trial at the Central Criminal Court.

1978: The North American Man/Boy Love Association is formed with the explicit intent of abolishing the age of consent. This is too much for even most radical homosexual organisations, who condemn it.

1981: Closet homosexual Wayne Williams is arrested. Although he is eventually tried for only two murders and convicted of both, he is believed to have been responsible for many more – the Atlanta Child Murders.

1982: Out homosexual Tom Robinson who wrote (Sing If You’re) Glad To Be Gay meets a woman name Sue Brearley at a party. She becomes Mrs Robinson, and he becomes a father!

1983: Homosexual activist and inveterate trouble-maker Peter Tatchell loses a safe Labour seat in a by-election, the so-called Battle of Bermondsey.

1985: The 14 year old Jason Swift dies during a “homosexual orgy”. His killers are convicted only of manslaughter.

1987: Dutch homosexual Edward Brongersma publishes the first volume of his major work Loving Boys.

1993: Leslie Bailey, one of the killers of schoolboy Jason Swift, is murdered in his cell at Whitemoor Prison.

1994: The twice married and divorced bisexual John Gacy is executed by lethal injection for murdering 33 young men and boys.
Former Editor of Gay News Denis Lemon dies of AIDS.
Later the same year, homosexual serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is murdered in prison.

Last year, this demented hag claimed to have been raped by Donald Trump back in the 1990s, in the fall of 1995 or the spring of 1996, that was as specific as she could be regarding the time of this phantom rape, but she was very specific about where it happened: the lingerie department of a Bergdorf Goodman store in New York.

Her interview with an initially sympathetic Anderson Cooper soon turned to farce when she alluded to rape as “sexy” - that’s what most women think about it, we were told. Cooper was clearly embarrassed, but not as embarrassed as all but the most die-hard of true believers when they learned Carroll had plagiarised this claim from a 2012 American crime drama.

One would have expected that to be the end of the matter, but after Trump denied the allegation publicly, Carroll sued him for defamation. It doesn’t take too much nous to detect the hand of Gloria Allred here; if that pernicious shyster didn’t put Carroll up to it, then she probably inspired the move. Now, Carroll claims Trump’s DNA is on her dress, which she preserved, echoing the sordid “affair” with Monica Lewinsky and her Bill Clinton “memento”. This begs the question, could Trump’s DNA actually be on that dress, and the answer is yes.

This could be a plot by the Deep State, or more realistically, Carroll could have some sort of connection with someone close to Trump. If she came up with this scheme in the wake of his election, she would have had two and a half years to put it into action. That being said, Trump was already a billionaire in the 1990s, which means he almost certainly never went anywhere without a bodyguard, and his movements would have been fairly closely minuted by those around him. He has nothing to worry about, whatever the judge decides.

Hillary Clinton may not like Russia, even though her husband has been known to line his pockets with a few roubles, but lesser mortals in the UK are less hostile to this colossus which was once our enemy but should now be our friend. Whatever the state of relations between our two nations, some individual Russians have boosted the UK economy in no uncertain terms. However much the Russian-based Internet Research Agency spent on Facebook advertisements in the run-up to the US Presidential elections, this was dwarfed by the money spent by certain Russian “oligarchs” in the English capital. From 2003, the Russian-born Roman Abramovich has invested heavily in Chelsea, one of the country’s leading football clubs. From the available public information, this ownership does not appear to have benefited him financially, so why does he do it? Who cares? Chelsea fans don’t!

In 2009, Evgeny Lebedev bought the Evening Standard, the major London evening newspaper and one of the country’s major regional newspapers. The paper was founded in 1827 as The Standard, a skimpy broadsheet which sold for a hefty 7d. (A hundred years later the same money would have bought you a kilogramme of sugar). Mr Lebedev’s newspaper is free, supported by advertising.

Away from the business of sport and publishing, we have Russian culture. While its charismatic leader Mr Putin is still not very popular here, Pushkin is in heavy demand.

Alexander Pushkin was born in 1799, and is universally recognised as one of Russia’s greatest literary figures. Pushkin House is a registered charity based in Bloomsbury. Founded by Russian émigrés and their supporters in 1954, it is dedicated to Pushkin and all Russian culture. From January 28 to February 2, it will be hosting its inaugural Festival Of Russian Music.

The Eurasian Creative Guild (London) is a much newer organisation with a similar though slightly broader remit. Founded by Marat Akhmejanov, it meets at the Russian Cultural Centre in High Street Kensington and publishes a glossy magazine, OCA. This year it launched the Eurasian Film Festival, which was held in Romford. The next one will be held from May 24-30. Details can be found on the dedicated website: http://eurasianfilmfestival.uk/ in English and Russian.

If that is too far ahead, the Nutcracker is currently playing at the London Coliseum until January 5, and The Sleeping Beauty at the Royal Opera House until January 16. This famous ballet runs to three hours with two intervals, and tickets are a very reasonable £30.

In October 1994, Susan Smith told police in Union, South Carolina she had been carjacked by a man who drove off with her two young sons on the back seat. Nine days later, she led them to the lake into which she had driven the vehicle, drowning both boys. This horrific tale has been thoroughly documented, and Smith has been the subject of countless hours of viewing. Right from the start there were problems with her story, but every day, police all over the world hear both improbable stories that turn out to be true and plausible ones that are outright lies.

In December 2011, D’Andre Lane of Detroit told a similarly implausible story in which he was carjacked by not one but two men, who drove off with his two year old daughter Bianca Jones on the back seat. Like Smith, Lane was charged with and convicted of murder, but that is where the similarities end, because in Lane’s case there is no confession, no body, and no real motive. Smith murdered her sons because they stood in the way of what she saw as a rosy future with the son of her employer. It has been claimed Lane beat his daughter to death because she wet the bed, but the evidence for this is weak at best.

Lane is no angel, to put it mildly, he has several convictions including for violence, and has served hard time. He is also a father of seven. By seven different women!

He failed a polygraph, and a cadaver dog is alleged to have detected traces of death in his car, which was found abandoned a mile from where he claimed to have been hijacked. Polygraphs are junk science, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. As for the dog, did it actually lead the police to a body?

On the plus side, Lane had returned to college and was trying to turn his life around. And there are witnesses who claim his daughter was alive after she was alleged to have been murdered, including one who claims the girl was kidnapped by someone close to home.

Lane lost an appeal against conviction in 2014, but two years ago, his attorney told True Crime Daily he too had evidence Bianca was still alive, and he is not the only one.

Above: D’Andre Lane with the daughter he is alleged to have murdered. But what happened to her body?

Although they have not been very active of late, Lane’s supporters can be found on Twitter. The big question has to be, if Lane really did murder his daughter, where in Hell did he dump the body? He had a limited time frame in which to dispose of it, and in cases like this, the police usually go the extra mile and then some, but there has been not a trace of Bianca Jones. It appears too that once they were satisfied in their own minds that Lane’s carjacking story didn’t hold up, the police didn’t bother to pursue other lines of investigation.

On January 18, 1982, the BBC screened a controversial documentary. A Complaint Of Rape was part of a series using a fly-on-the-wall camera technique; its subject was not simply the police but their methods. Part of a series called simply Police, this episode caused outrage and led to changes in the way rape complainants are dealt with by the police in Britain.

The outrage was due to the way the complainant in this particular case was treated. A young woman was seen sitting in a room with three male detectives who obviously did not believe her story about being gang-raped by three men. To say the detectives were dismissive would be to understate the case. Among other things, they accused her of being a prostitute. As it turned out, they were not far off the mark, but the viewing public was not to know that.

The outrage over this perceived ill-treatment was augmented by something far worse. Earlier that month, John Allen had stood trial at Ipswich Crown Court for the rape of a teenage hitchhiker. Allen had pleaded not guilty, but after the girl broke down in court he changed his plea. What happened next was extraordinary. Instead of sentencing Allen to a substantial gaol term, Judge Bertrand Richards said the girl had been “guilty of a great deal of contributory negligence” then fined him £2,000. This led to the MP Arthur Lewis asking the Attorney General if the Lord Chancellor would dismiss the judge, to which he received a one word answer: “No”.

Unlike this poor girl who was clearly denied justice, the young woman at Woodley Police Station was not a rape victim, she was a head case, and a far greater danger to innocent men than they were to her. Obviously the detectives knew this, but you wouldn't know this if you read contemporaneous reviews of the programme.

If you are skeptical, see if you can find A Complaint Of Rape on the regular Internet. You won't be able to, for good reason, any critical investigation would tear its bogus narrative to shreds. One of the men behind the programme was Roger Graef. When he was asked to comment on it in 2017, he fell strangely silent, although 9 years previously he had already backtracked slightly when he wrote an article for the London Evening Standard in which he urged women not to drink too much and give out mixed signals to men.

Roger Graef — one of the men behind the 1982 Reading gang-rape hoax.

The truth about the 1982 documentary was not long in coming out but was not widely disseminated. On January 29, the Reading Chronicle published a letter from Mrs E.M. O’Rourke who wrote “I believe there had been no rape in the legal sense, but no-one doubted the woman’s story was substantially correct”. Seven days earlier, the Bradford newspaper Telegraph & Argus published a letter from a correspondent who pointed out that “she had (a) made a similar complaint that proved groundless and (b) she had a history of mental disturbance”.

History and future! On February 1, she was arrested for creating a disturbance in the centre of Reading, and promptly Sectioned. This was apparently not the first time, nor the second, she had been taken off the street in this fashion.

In spite of non-partisan reporting by the Reading Chronicle, the country heard only the whinings of the sexual grievance industry which to this day continues to spout vacuous statistics and factoids about how many men get away with rape aided and abetted by the police.

In June 2016, another documentary with the same title was screened. This focused on an allegation made by a young Spanish tourist in Bedford who the previous June had gone voluntarily with a man who had by his own admission drunk nine pints of beer. There was no suggestion of money changing hands, but their relationship had been confined to sex in his hotel room. For whatever reason, it had not ended well, and she accused him of rape. A prompt investigation led not only to his arrest but to exculpatory CCTV evidence and an earwitness. Even so, a woman detective assigned to the case had clearly drunk the feminist Kool-Aid, but thankfully the CPS declined to charge him. Think about this, what couldn’t most men do after drinking nine pints of beer?

At the end of this second documentary, the viewer was treated to the same contrived feminist statistics: 9 out of 10 rapes go unreported. How does anyone know if they are not reported? And only 6% of reported rapes result in conviction. There is an obvious solution to this: the authorities should stop bringing so many weak cases. In addition to that, women should be encouraged to take responsibility for themselves, and gratuitous false accusers need to be severely punished.

While fortunately (grooming gangs aside) gang-rapes are rare, false allegations of gang-rapes are not. Here are a few examples from both sides of the Atlantic:

November 2005: At Oldham, Lancashire, single mother Sherelle Deblasio has sex with four men, then filled with shame decides to frame them for rape. Fortunately, three of them had smartphones.

March 2006: the outrageous Duke University hoax. The false accuser in that case received no punishment, and went on to murder her lover.

September 2009: the notorious Hofstra University case — the reprobates concerned were saved by mobile phone footage.

February 2010: Teenager Cheryll Dannatt has sex with three men, the fourth declined. The next day she tells her mother she was gang-raped.

May 2014: At the Cirencester Mad Hatter’s Ball, Cirencester, four students have sex with Miss X. Yet again, video evidence saves the wrongly accused.

Sadly, rather than tackle the problem of false rape allegations and the abuse of alcohol that leads to so many rapes — real and imaginary — the focus of the sexual grievance industry is squarely on the erosion of due process, making it easier to convict the guilty and innocent alike. In the United States it has become positively dangerous for any man especially a student to have sex with a woman who has consumed any quantity of alcohol, while in Canada no evidence is required to convict a suspect, only a story. Along with statutes of limitations, jury trials have long been abolished, making Canada arguably the most dangerous country in the world for a man to be falsely accused of rape. And we haven’t even mentioned the ludicrous #MeToo Movement yet.
